A glittering 'ashy' saw LHS U-15's pick up 3 points on their first home game of the season |
Larbert
High School prove a point against Denny at Larbert with an 8-2 win to
get off to the perfect start in their league campaign.
Larbert got
off to a good start with a loose ball picked up by Conor Gamble just inside his
own half and switched out to James Maxwell who put it just over. Conor then put
in for a good cross for a good header from Jamie Forrester. A couple more
chances came before they got the break through from Conor Gamble assisted by
James Maxwell. The second goal came from James thanks to a good through ball by
Conor Gamble. At half time it was all Larbert, the team were dominating and
Denny rarely threatened.
Jack
Donaldson got the 6th goal of the game with a shot from the edge of
the box into the top corner. Mckenzie
Cranston got the 7th when he managed to run through the defence and
chipped the keeper. Denny got another consolation goal with a powerful shot
from the edge of the box straight past Jordan in the goal. Mckenzie Cranston managed
to use his skill to get past 4 defenders and play it across the box with Jamie Forrester
collected the ball cutting inside and hitting a rocket into the bottom corner
to finish the game 8-2.
