Conor Gamble is Larbert's Hat-Trick Hero

Larbert high school under 14s were playing Falkirk high at Larbert High and it was a very big game because if they won they would go top of the league. There were goals, great saves, and a hat-trick from Conor Gamble who helped the team to a comfortable 4-1 victory.

Larbert High stormed to a convincing 4-1 victory against Falkirk High thanks to Conor Gamble's inspired hat-trick

The first half wasn’t the best with Falkirk putting the ball into the box for their striker to hit past Jordan Colley the Larbert High School goalkeeper. It was a goal that could have been prevented but the Larbert defence couldn’t clear the ball.

Larbert were passing the ball well but they couldn’t take their chances in front of goal until Jamie Forrester played a through ball into Conor Gamble who hit a great shot which went over the goalkeeper and into the net.

The teams went into half-time with the score at 1-1 but Larbert were the more dominant side playing better and more attractive football.
The second half started with Larbert on the front foot and they got their noses in front when Jamie Forrester hit a free kick into the box but it hit Mitchell Wallace inside the box and it went to Owen Lake who hit great shot which easily went past Falkirk’s goalkeeper. Soon after it was 3 when Jamie Forrester played a high ball into Conor Gamble who placed the ball into the corner.

The last goal was similar to the 3rd when Jamie Forrester played another great pass into Conor Gamble who hit a powerful shot past the Falkirk goalkeeper.
In the end Larbert won 4-1 and they went to top of the league.
