Steven Fray Tells Us Why He Loves Rugby and Daniel Sturridge's Dance Moves

My name is Steven Fray and I have chosen sports journalism as I wanted to do something different from just sports, but still stay with the sports theme.

I have been playing rugby for six years now and I have always been interested in the sport. I now play for LHS School of Rugby and I have been really enjoying it so far. I have won multiple trophies and events though my years of rugby which I am really proud of winning, but I’m still determined to learn more.

In the future I would love to be a professional rugby player but of course I know I have to work very hard to make it within the sport.

My biggest sporting inspiration would have to be my old maths teacher, Dr Cook, who used to help out in rugby training at my last school. Dr Cook really got me into playing rugby and helped me realise a passion for rugby and a passion for sport.

I am really looking forward to the Rugby world cup 2015 with England as hosts.
The Rugby World Cup which started last Saturday and has already thrown up some memorable results

The most likely team to win the World Cup is New Zealand as they are currently ranked number one in the world at the moment just ahead of South Africa who are second and ahead of Ireland who are ranked third in the world. I will be supporting England at the World Cup as they are my favourite International rugby team just above Scotland – my dad is English.
I am also very passionate about football, my favourite team is Liverpool F.C.  My favourite Liverpool player is Daniel Sturridge he is a top goal scorer and a brilliant player, his celebration dance has to be the best celebration in the Premier League.

Steven appreciates Daniel Sturridge's moves
I think Coutinho could be Liverpool’s next big star of the season and the player of the season in the Premier League. I think Liverpool’s new signings including Firmino and Benteke will improve the team and hopefully score goals for the club, I also think Milner will be a great improvement to the club and will be a great leader.

I went to a Liverpool game when last year when Liverpool were playing against Everton in the Premier league on Tuesday the 28th of January 2014, the score was 4-0 to Liverpool it was amazing! Gerrard managed to score and then Sturridge scored twice in the first half. In the second half Suarez scored again to seal the win for Liverpool.

I'm looking forward to writing about the rugby and football events happening in the upcoming year.
